Well Done Thou Good and Faithful Servant!

MY HEART IS TORN!!!!!

Hellooooo my favorites! Last email ever... so weird.

First off you all are champs for sticking with me on this 18 month journey. I seriously love you all so much. Thanks for all your love & support. I truly couldn't have done it without you!!

I am SO humbled & honored at this opportunity I have had to serve our Lord, Jesus Christ. He has become my best friend & has helped me through every minute. My mission taught me so much about charity & love, faith, the Atonement, the need to keep the commandments, why doing His will is better than doing ours, the power of prayer, humility, hope, patience, church leadership, how to recognize the spirit....etc. Seriously the list could go on for pages!!

MISSIONS ARE THEE BEST. I'VE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER. GRATEFUL.

I was able to speak in Sacrament yesterday & share what I've learned on my mission (homecoming talk prep I guess) & if you know me, you know I'm not an emotional person. But I just started tearing up & almost lost it up there. It was of course happy tears because of everyone I was able to meet & how they have changed my life.

So my heart is torn. The people of Virgina are amazing & will always have a huge place in my heart. But it makes it easier leaving here knowing there are just as amazing people on the other end. Tears of joy & sadness, but I take great hope in knowing that God has a plan for us. & I am beyond happy that a mission was part of my plans. To explain my emotions in one word: peace.

I better see you all this week! (Just excuse my awkwardness (: )

LOVE YOU ALL. 💗

Happy Thanksgiving!

Heyyy!!! This week we had Elder Arnold of the seventy come to visit our mission! It was way fun. Learned lots of good missionary tips! All the zone Leaders & sister training leaders got to have a personal interview with him, so I got to talk to him alone. Which was the best ever, what a cool oppurtunity I will never forget.

We are continusally seeing miracles. Seriously, so many. I am SO blessed to witness them. I am honored to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. I have loved EVERY second of it.

I love these 2 verses from Alma 5:
13 And behold, he preached the word unto your fathers, and a mighty change was also wrought in their hearts, and they humbled themselves and put their trust in the true and living God. And behold, they were faithful until the end; therefore they were saved.
14 And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?

Something I have been reflecting on, so I figured you can too. 🤗 Do others see Christ in your countance? Are you truly converted? What are you doing to try & increase both of those questions? I pray & hope others can see the light of Christ beaming from all of us. Therefore, be a good example in all your doings & keep up the good work.

I LOVE YOU ALL SO SO MUCH.

HAPPY THANKGIVING!!! Go eat so much food & dont feel guilty about it (my mission motto!!) 🤗 I am SO thankful for all of you. Every single one of you have had a big impact on my life & i want to express my love & gratitude towards you. 💗

ELDER ANDERSEN!!!!

So, this week was such a spiritual, amazing week! Elder Andersen, one of the twelve apostles came & visited us, as well as other general authorities. Seriously, i wish all of you could've been in that meeting. The spirit was so strong. In that moment my testimony grew even more. The spirit testified to me that Christ truly LIVES, He stands at the head of this church, I was supposed to come here to The Washington D.C. South Mission, & that I have accomplished everything He has wanted me to in these 18 months. Which I found great comfort in. I am so spoiled to have met 3 apostles while I've been here! I LOVE THIS GOSPEL!!!

Also, we have seen SO MANY miracles this week, i can't even write them all or i will run out of time. I hit dead tired like 3x this week thinking i can't keep going.... & of course we prayed & The Lords strength came into play. One of the few times that God has literally taken me by the hand & led me. & because He lead us, we met the most amazing people!!! So many humble people willing to listen (which is rare here (:) Everyday going home our mouths just dropped at the people being placed in our path. We met an AMAZING family from Egypt who just let us right in & we taught them & are so excited for us to come back. We met another couple who just let us talk to them forever. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

I am so grateful for a Father in Heaven who knows me better than I do & for being with me EVERY step of the way. I KNOW Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ know & love you so much.

LOVES. Have a good week everyone! See you all soon enough!! (:

Patience is a virtue!

HELLO!!! This week went by so quick with lots & lots of amazing meeting. Grateful to serve here at this time. So since i am lazy in emailing, i will send you all random pictures. I have seen God's hand so much this week, lots of progress is being made here.

This transfer our mission is working on patience, wahoo! Just what I need (: Patience is probably the Christ like attribute I have learned the most on my mission. Patience with your investigators, companions, yourself... I am grateful for the perfect example, Our Savior Jesus Christ, we have to follow. "Patience is the ability to do God's will & accept His timing. You MUST wait for the Lord's promised blessings to be fulfilled."

"Life is full of difficulties, some minor and others of a more serious nature. There seems to be an unending supply of challenges for one and all. Our problem is that we often expect instantaneous solutions to such challenges, forgetting that frequently the heavenly virtue of patience is required.”
–President Thomas S. Monson

Love you all lots. See you soon!
