Hellooooo my favorites! Last email ever... so weird.
First off you all are champs for sticking with me on this 18
month journey. I seriously love you all so much. Thanks for all your love &
support. I truly couldn't have done it without you!!
I am SO humbled & honored at this opportunity I have had
to serve our Lord, Jesus Christ. He has become my best friend & has helped
me through every minute. My mission taught me so much about charity & love,
faith, the Atonement, the need to keep the commandments, why doing His will is
better than doing ours, the power of prayer, humility, hope, patience, church
leadership, how to recognize the spirit....etc. Seriously the list could go on
for pages!!
MISSIONS ARE THEE BEST. I'VE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER.
GRATEFUL.
I was able to speak in Sacrament yesterday & share what
I've learned on my mission (homecoming talk prep I guess) & if you know me,
you know I'm not an emotional person. But I just started tearing up &
almost lost it up there. It was of course happy tears because of everyone I was
able to meet & how they have changed my life.
So my heart is torn. The people of Virgina are amazing &
will always have a huge place in my heart. But it makes it easier leaving here
knowing there are just as amazing people on the other end. Tears of joy &
sadness, but I take great hope in knowing that God has a plan for us. & I
am beyond happy that a mission was part of my plans. To explain my emotions in
one word: peace. ✌
I better see you all this week! (Just excuse my awkwardness
(: )
LOVE YOU ALL. 💗

BEST. THANKSGIVING. EVER. 🦃Love this ward.
As missionaries we love the people we serve because of our faith. Because we know of God's love and our understanding of faith. We want to share this understanding of faith with everyone in our mission, Companion, and investigators. This is the definition of faith
ReplyDeleteto bless all your loved ones. Faith blesses our family, makes us good missionaries and allows to give our self the Happiness of understood faith and the eternal joy to share that fact and to share that truth with others.
"Many believer's feed themselves on what God hasn't done. When I dwell on what hasn't happened, I create the atmosphere for the spirit of offense to arise and to thrive. When I dwell on what hasn't happened, I legitimize unbelief. I live with a sense of justification, for not believing God.
Faith in the purest sense is the ceasing of resistance. even when there's no physical evidence, when the other evidence is present. Not feeding ourselves on what God hasn't done Faith in it's purest form is the absence of resistance
Heaven is a place where everyone is celebrated, some are more honored but everyone is celebrated. All men and all women shall be judged on the light which they have received. Heaven is a permissible culture. God's nature is eternally permissible. These statements protect us from credit.
Faith in the purest sense is the ceasing of resistance, even when there's no physical evidence, when the other evidence is present. Not feeding ourselves on what God hasn't done. Faith in it's purest form is the absence of resistance. Faith doesn't deny a problems existence, it denies it's influence. He or she was someone whom aridity and desolation never disturbed for he or she had a deeply rooted, and a vigorous faith.
Now we can act as we have always dreamed. Now we can act as we have always been. Now we can step into the light and gather the sunlight instead of blocking out our possibilities. Instead of blocking out our joy. Variety will bloom in/under the sun. We can show off our best, we can enjoy other people's gifts. We can blossom where we stand upon the joy that faith provides us. Upon the joy that faith inherently has, which blossoms the entire field of flowers."
